Curiosity is a powerful component. Without the natural desire to investigate scientific concerns, realisation is arguably impossible to achieve. Circular formations emphasise unknown origins and imply eternal enquiry. In my work I use photography to capture fragility, transition and momentum; elements which contribute to the nature of being. I manipulate both materials and colour to create a vivid experience, whereby feelings of inferiority and perplexity are integral to the work. Anonymous visuals formulate a void, which contribute to the notion of the infinite. Metaphysical polarities provoke questions within my work; presence and absence, alongside ideas of the solid and the intangible. Contemplation of reality and the comprehending of surroundings can easily be over-looked. Scale is utilised to convey the narrow field in which we operate within, is it possible that only until faced with the unrecognisable, spaciousness and vastness can be contemplated?
